- The subject is more important in landscape photography because nature doesn't always follow rules. Focusing on the subject allows you to not force the subject to fit the composition. Having the composition be more important can also create a boring photo.
- Don't include too much in the shot
- When there is heavy, cloudy skies or when there is a blue, bright sky with fluffy clouds. It makes them stand out with the monochromatic result.
- It teaches you how the lighting and weather combine to lend a different look to the landscape. It allows you to better capture areas that you didn't capture before, as well as saving time because you have already researched the area.
