- I picked this building because firstly the name just was interesting to me. When I looked at the photos I loved how symmetrical and shiny it was. It quickly caught my eye and was cool to look at. The reflection of the shiny metal and the easily identifiable shape I liked.
Eden Project, United Kingdom

- It is a private owned building that you must pay to get into
- It cost 141 million euros (160 million USD)
- It was built to show off plants and to teach about them
- I chose this building because I was curious about the name Eden Project. When I saw the large hexagonal domes I wanted to learn more about why it was built and what it is used for since I had never seen it before. The shapes were interesting to look at as it isn't something common
Burj Al Arab, Dubai, UAE

- It was built as a hotel
- I picked this building because I wanted to know what the architecture was like in the UAE and places nearby it. I had never seen a building that looked and was constructed like this. The fact that it was a hotel also made me want to learn more about it.
Turing Torso, Sweden

- It was built as a skyscraper for offices
- I picked the building because the leading lines and the curve looked really cool. When I saw the name I was also curious as to what it was going to be. I also wanted to learn more about the skyscraper.
The UFO House, Taiwan

- It was built as a vacation home, geared towards military officers coming back
- I picked this building because it seems bizarre, and unlike the other building, this one was very unmaintained and alive. It was a failed project and even got demolished. This building is also much smaller than the others and was very interesting.
